Innovation at any age is tough work; no one at BIF-8 articulated this better than 16 year old Rachel Shuster. Shuster, founder of Half Hollow Hills Kids Care club broke it down like never before, “It’s not all rainbows and unicorns when you’re trying to get something done”. In spite of these challenges, Rachel relentlessly advocates for cultivating youth talent and serving the community.
ABOUT RACHEL SHUSTER
When you think serial entrepreneur, a high school sophomore normally doesn’t come to mind. Meet Rachel Shuster, founder of the Half Hollow Hills Kids Care club, a community service organization based in Long Island. Kids Care Clubs started in 1990 with the mission of developing compassion and inspiring a spirit of volunteering in elementary and middle school children. The clubs are led by an adult facilitator and implement meaningful hands-on service projects, locally, nationally and globally.
