Growing up during the Cultural Revolution in China, Ping Fu wanted to be an astronaut. She survived 10 years of abuse, both physical and emotional, and has since gone on to create her own company Geomagic, bringing 3D printing software to design. Recently, her technology was used in a space shuttle, bringing her a little bit closer to her childhood dream.
