On This Episode
Saul Kaplan and Peter Roberts discuss the 5-year-long, complex process of transformation he's led for Children's Health System of Texas. The goal: a business model that's centered on family well-being, rather than sick care.

Peter Roberts serves as President for Population Health and Insurance Services of Children’s Health System of Texas. Since joining Children’s in 2011, Peter has conceived, organized, and led the development of projects for Children’s, such as a pediatric value-based business model, meant to create a comprehensive population health management support system.

As part of Children’s effort to improve the health of Dallas children, Peter led the conceptualization and development of The Health and Wellness Alliance for Children, a collective-impact social change initiative comprised of more than 30 nonprofit, government, and business organizations.

Previously, Peter held senior leadership positions with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Iowa and South Dakota, and with the University of Michigan Medical Center.
