On This Episode
Saul Kaplan talks with author Dan Pink, whose books are regularly ahead of the innovation curve. Pink's 'Free Agent Nation' and 'A Whole New Mind' explored ideas that, 10 and 15 years later, became the reality of the sharing economy and right-brain thinking. His advice for today's innovators and business model designers: "Keep your overhead low."

Dan Pink writes masterfully about how people think about work and how they get work done. He is the author of five provocative books, including the New York Times bestsellers, A Whole New MindDrive, and To Sell is Human. His articles on business and technology appear in many publications, including the New York TimesHarvard Business ReviewFast Company, and Wired. Pink has provided analysis of business trends on many broadcast news outlets, and lectures around the world on economic transformation and the new workplace. He is also host and co-executive producer of “Crowd Control,” a television series about human behavior on the National Geographic Channel. Pink is currently working on When, a book about “when to” rather than “how to.”
