Jacob comes to BIF from his own consulting practice, through which he helped clients better understand, engage and empower individual and community aspirations, values, and talents. He is particularly adept at translating contextual insights into actionable experience, service, and product solutions that foster agency and well-being.

Jacob has been honored to speak about his work de-stigmatizing aging to Kaiser Permanente’s Innovation Learning Network and the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design, among many others. He has been consistently recognized for his innovative visual research methods, having received awards and grants from the likes of Intel Labs and the Core77 Design Awards.

Jacob holds a masterÍs degree with a focus in Human-Centered Design from Art Center College of Design, and a bachelorÍs from Vassar College.
