Liz was 15 when she got pregnant. She was as much an American as a Cambodian feeling the constant pull between the two cultures. Liz’s familial support was very important during this time as she was caring for herself, her family and her baby. They did the best they knew how without knowing all of the risks of teenage pregnancy.
