BIF is pleased to announce it will be partnering with the Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE) to strategically align their core capabilities with a new model to reimagine how they deliver value for a community of practice for aspiring leaders, building a participatory process for designing, streamlining, and scaling FTE’s business model.

Working in tandem with their staff and leadership teams BIF will help them reimagine their delivery model by redesigning capabilities in service of impact and organizational efficiency while building their design thinking muscle in the process, treating new initiatives as core to their model and not simply a bolt-on in order to create next practices.

In addition, BIF will be working with FTE’s network of higher education institutions across the country who are recognizing the fact that they don’t have the right model to effectively recruit and retain female leaders and leaders of color. BIF will be running a two-day bootcamp to address the capability of putting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as a core practice, building the capabilities of their staff to discuss how they as leaders can respond and further DEI initiatives.

FTE is a leadership incubator that inspires young people to make a difference in the world through Christian communities. For more, view the case study here.

At BIF, we believe that design strategy is critical to developing, iterating on, and spreading new models. It is an approach that helps leaders determine what to do (or make), how to grow, and where to innovate (both in the immediate term and the long term). It helps leaders work in environments that are rapidly changing and relatively volatile. Design strategy enables adaptable and flexible action plans, inherently building more resilient organizations. Ultimately, through design strategy, organizations build the capability to reimagine and actively reinvent themselves to be consistently relevant. As a purpose-driven design firm, BIF is committed to bringing design strategy where it is needed most – health care, education, and public service to create value for our most vulnerable populations.
