Exploring Hybrid Realities (Twitter Style)

Rita J. King and Joshua Fouts left the @theBIF crowd spinning yesterday! Their exploration into digital culture created a winning combination of thought and question. Four hours of conversation only broke the surface of a multidimensional narrative of a changing world, influenced by technology and networks. Our discussion covered a spectrum so vast, there's only one way to appropriately share-- 140 characters (or less)!

• There may be an age when computers are smarter than us
• We need a radical transformation of how the world interacts
• Creating technological connectivity in a meaningful way
• Using virtual worlds as a medium for change
• Peace isn't the absence of conflict 
• Cultural relations have business value
• The physical world is becoming a "hybrid reality"
• Finding a fluidity between the digital and physical world

• Too many large organizations think innovation is catching up on a trend they missed 5 years ago
• People are looking for a technology solution for what is a human problem
• We're at the infancy of tapping creative potential, and only at the beginning of understanding human potential
