December Read: The New Capitalist Manifesto

Katherine Hypolite

The Skpye screen was grainy, the connection was less than ideal—still, all the way from Pakistan, Umair Haque blew me away. Literally hanging on his every word, I found myself completely captivated by his passion. After the Summit I knew there was one thing I needed to do—read Haque’s the New Capitalist Manifesto. In true Hypolite fashion, life got in the way and in a post-summit haze I never got around to getting the book…until now! Let me tell you folks, I’m a chapter in and I don’t want to put it down.

We’re a community, right? So join me starting December 5th for an online discussion of The New Capitalist Manifesto in the BIF Book Group. Our community exists with a simple and straightforward proposition: Great conversation focused on great books about innovation.

Innovators, economics junkies, and eudaimonia enthusiasts join me for a great conversation! You have the weekend to load you ipads, kindles and nooks (or if you’re like me stroll to the bookstore); I can’t wait to get started!
