Day 1 Transcripts

Rachel Clarke 2I spent yesterday liveblogging the the talks, as far as possible taking down what was said in each session. Here's a rundown and links to the from the first session.

  • First up was Matt Cottam, co-founder and Principle at Tellart. His story was all about learning to be a paramedic, how he thought it was about learning things for work and how the most valuable lessons he learnt was about people.
  • Next, Euan Semple, a story about bringing new tools and practices into a large organisation, the BBC.
  • The final speaker in the first session was Jason Fried, as interviewed by Walt Mossman. Here you got as much from Walt as you did from Jason and a sort of agreement that open source does not work. In some cases.
