Heather Bruneau

Heather Bruneau’s primary area of expertise is in public health related research.  She is currently pursuing a fifth year of medical school in order to pursue her research interests. Her primary areas of interest are in rheumatology, oncology and gerontology. She will receive a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Connecticut in December 2008. Previous to pursuing medicine, Heather received her Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Connecticut as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Providence College. She did her Master’s thesis on neck musculoskeletal disorders in dental hygienists.She also currently works at Yale University in the Department of Rheumatology doing research on the cost effectiveness of using MRI in early rheumatoid arthritis.
