Rick Borovoy

Rick Borovoy is co-founder of nTAG Interactive and inventor of the world's first interactive badge specifically designed for face-to-face social networking and event data management. As the Chief Technology Officer, Rick defines nTAG's technology strategy and leads product development. After earning his undergraduate degree from Harvard in 1989, Rick spent five years conducting research in collaborative computing in Apple Computer's Advanced Technology Group, for which he received five patents. Rick earned both his master's degree in 1995 and his PhD in 2002 from the MIT Media Lab. Rick is considered a pioneer in social applications of ubiquitous computing, and has presented and published his work in a broad variety of global forums.
