Patient Experience Lab Field Update: Using Graphic Facilitation to Get Below the Buzzwords

Let's face it -- conversations about business model innovation can be daunting. At BIF, we employ a lot of techniques to help all of us get below the buzz words and bridge the business model language barrier. Experience Designer, Kara Dziobek, talks about how she is using graphic facilitation in our work with the primary care and the population health teams at Children's Medical Center-Dallas.

Last week, we worked with these teams to map out their current business model and capabilities. This work builds upon the insights and opportunity spaces defined in the foundational research we've been doing with them over the past year. We will use the this next phase of research to repurpose their capabilities in service of new models that better serve patients' needs.
