Babson President Len Schlesinger Video Now Available

Babson is consistently ranked number one in entrepreneurship by U.S. News and World Report. Babson College president Len Schlesinger knows that future graduates will have to grasp global markets quickly and confidently if they expect to shine. This upbeat sense of urgency has served Schlesinger well in his long career on both the academic and private sides of business. In this phenomenal presentation recorded on March 9th 2010 Len answers three basic questions which will have you rethinking what it means to be an entrepreneur:
  1. Where's the logic in even educating entrepeneurs?
  2. Where should education really be headed?
  3. What's Babson doing to meet today's challenges?
Len is on a mission to democratize entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education on a global scale. Just what exactly does that mean? Take a listen to this fascinating talk. RELATED BIF intern Elicia Welch had the chance to sit down for a one-on-one interview with Len and what a great conversation they had.  The huge smile and breathless pace Len brings to their chat are only outmatched by the tenacity with which he adheres to the Babson motto: “People, Planet, Profit.” Everyone can be an entrepreneur says Len. It is not an exclusive club that only the few can participate in - but rather, a method of value creation that anyone can do (but too few get to practice). Len believes that the more people who exhibit entrepreneurial behavior and move from thinking about it to actually doing it, the better off we will all be. Watch the video.
