About the BIF Summit

Each year BIF hosts a national gathering of amazing people from all walks of life to share their personal story. Now in its sixth year, the BIF Collaborative Innovation Summit is much more a conversation than a conference. Over two days, more than two dozen people will take the stage and replace canned presentations with something personal. There are absolutely no panels or talking heads, no infomercials or powerpoints, just very personal stories from people who combine passion, creativity, smarts and discipline to get things done in new and valuable ways. The format is really energizing and a refreshing break from standard operating procedure. In the end, we bring together 350 serious-minded/fun-loving technologists, artists, scientists, entrepreneurs, designers, educators, explorers, business executives and social innovators to learn from and engage with one another.

Best of the BIF Summit

Since the first BIF Summit, we've heard stories from more than 150 innovators from across every sector and discipline. Hard to believe that we are gearing up for our sixth Summit. Even more amazing is that 1697 people have been in the audience for at least one of these gatherings. It was hard to do, but after lots of discussion and debate, we've picked 16 stories that the BIF team find especially memorable, moving, or simply stunning.
